Saturn’s movement from one sign to the next is always a momentous affair. In some ways it is like the passing of a herd of elephants through a forest patch. It brings radical and far reaching changes in the flora of the forest.

Saturn has four different kinds of effects as it travels through the zodiac. These effects are called the feet of Saturn and named after four metals iron, copper, silver and gold. As always, we shall consider the transit of Saturn from birth Moon also known as the sign where moon is placed at the time of birth.

If on the day of transit, Saturn comes to a house where he is in the first, sixth or eleventh house from Moon sign, he is considered to have feet of gold.

In second, fifth and ninth houses, Saturn enjoys the feet of silver.

In the third, seventh and tenth houses his feet are of copper.

In the fourth, eighth and twelfth houses he has feet of iron.

For example Saturn will transit to Sagittarius on January 26,2016. Keeping this in mind, the twelve Lunar astrology signs will get different ‘Paya’ or feet of Saturn.

For Aries, Saturn will fall in the ninth house, so for Aries Saturn will have the ‘Paya’ of silver for the next 30 months.The results for silver feet are favorable in all spheres of life.

For Taurus, Saturn will fall in the eighth house so his ‘Paya’ will be of iron. Taurus born will therefore experience problems created by opponents, ill health to spouse, financial setbacks and fruitless journeys.

For Gemini, Saturn occupies the seventh house and his ‘Paya’ will be of copper. Gemini born will therefore experience favorable results. They will receive favorable news, success in pet projects, gain in social status and comfortable finances.

For cancer since Saturn falls in the sixth house, the ‘Paya’ will be of gold. They will face struggles, domestic and professional life becomes burdened with obstacles and expenses outstrip income. The results of gold feet are all negative.

When deciphering the results of Saturn’s transit in an astrology birth chart, it is important to modify the good or bad results in the light of results given by ‘Paya’ consideration. This adds to accuracy of predictions.

This logic can be extended to rest of the twelve signs.

Aries, Leo and Scorpio have Paya of silver

Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn have Paya of iron

Gemini,Libra and Pisces have feet of copper, and

Cancer,Sagittarius and Aquarius have the Paya of gold.
